I was suffering from troublesome vertigo and headaches, diplopia, ataxia, decreased appetite, and hyperasthesia that didn’t respond to conventional interventions but that didn’t impair my performance. I was delighted when Dr. Wu quickly and successfully eliminated my symptoms and fortunately, heeded his warning that I should consult a neurologist immediately, as he was concerned over evidence of a serious problem that needed Western medical intervention. In light of Dr. Wu’s impressive education and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and his thorough understanding between the relationships of the two, I followed his advice. My problems had, in fact been caused by a brain cyst with hydrocephalus, which was surgically removed. If not for Dr. Wu’s accurate evaluation of a completely hidden problem, and the rapid treatment of it (by Western medical intervention), I could have had a fatal stroke or death. — Charles B.

I was suffering from chronic illness and an endocrine problem. I was no longer able to work under the stressful conditions that I encountered on a daily basis and was basically in health crisis. I have personally been treated by Dr. Wu with remarkable success. He truly has exceptional abilities as a health care provider. In addition to treating me with acupuncture, he has been instrumental in helping me make lifestyle changes necessary to maintain my well being. I now incorporate medical qigong breathing exercises and self acupuncture into my daily routine and frequently consult with him concerning my nutritional needs. —Janella P.

I became Dr. Wu’s patient when many months of traditional Western medical treatment had failed to help a severe condition of vertigo that compromised both of my professional and personal life. My conditions, however, was completely resolved after two treatments with Dr. Wu that included acupuncture, acupressure, and the use of Chinese herbs.—Isaac S

In December of the past year I underwent a hemorrhoidectomy which, for anyone who does not know, is an excruciatingly painful surgery. Unfortunately, I got sepsis as a result of the procedure (blood poisoning)spent several says in the ICU and suffered enormous pain, bleeding and inflammation for the weeks and months following the experience. My entire lower GI was inflamed and not functioning properly. The doctor cautioned me to expect pain, swelling and bleeding for at least 3 months following my recovery. Sitting was painful, standing was a struggle and walking or using my legs in any kind of strenuous manner was very difficult and painful. I was on heavy doses of pain killers (Dilauded) and muscle relaxers to prevent muscle spasms internally. Needless to say, many aspects of my life were falling apart – work, friendships, entertainment. I could not see a road at the end of the tunnel. My doc could do little for me except prescribe more drugs. I went to an herbalist, I tried juicing, I went organic-vegan, I fasted, but 3 months after my surgery I was still in so much pain that my life was becoming unlivable. A friend of mine urged me to try her acupuncturist. I had been to 5 or 6 acupuncturists in the last 10 years and experienced mixed results. The experiences were never bad but did not always produce any noticeable effects. However, at wit’s end, I made an appointment with Dr. Wu. Our first session began with me in so much chronic pain that I was in tears (a daily experience for me). By the end of the first session, however, I felt like a weight had been lifted. The severe pain and debilitating discomfort which had plagued me were 50% reduced after 50 minutes with Dr. Wu. In the days that followed I noticed that the inflammation and bleeding were also receding. I was able to walk around without wincing from pain. After 3 sessions I was able to start engaging in activities which were once a normal part of my life, like working out, long walks and eating more casually. Dr. Wu proved to be an astute listener when I gave him feedback and very tuned in to my body. He was able to determine root causes of my pain – and revealed to me things which my western doctor did not know. Aside from the in-office sessions, he provided me with very effective herbal teas and gave me many recommendations to improve my health – which I followed. . After 9 sessions I feel that Dr. Wu has given me my life back. There are many acupuncturists around as this modality is becoming increasingly popular, but I have to say that the treatment I got from Dr. Wu was nothing short of a miracle for me. Dr. Wu was fully educated in China and brings the gifts and knowledge of that tradition here. Having been to several acupuncturists I feel so lucky to have found him. For me, Dr. Wu was not just an acupuncturist but a rare and genuine practitioner of healing and well-being. –Reem M.

I was referred to Dr. Wu for treatment to my recently diagnosed Bell’s Palsy. I have been very pleased and impressed not only with the quality of the treatments, but also with Dr. Wu’s professionalism, capabilities, and excellent bedside manner. Equally as important and impressive to me was his extensive knowledge of Bell’s Palsy, and hence, selecting the best and most effective course of treatment for me. He has been genuinely pleased to see the progress I have made, and continues to change the treatments to be most effective to my level of progression.

The office staff are also very professional, and the office environment and rooms are kept very clean and in order. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Wu to those requiring this type of treatment. –Chris J.

I just wanted to say Thank You sooo much for seeing James yesterday. I did not get a chance to see him before bed time yesterday. So this morning when he woke up he was so excited. He said to me, “mommy mommy I see Dr. Wu and he tickled my feet and massaged my big belly. And, all better now”. And, it so very true. James had 1 of the better night sleeps he had in 3 weeks and woke up in a good mood – not crying and uncomfortable. And my husband said “Dr Wu was magic with James” – he could not believe it. Again, Thank You so much for seeing him sooo quickly – I appreciate from the bottom of my heart. – Katherine W.

I had the great good fortune to find Dr. Wu when I moved to Texas. Acupuncture has literally changed my life. I was saddled with daily chronic tension headaches that left me unable to function and eventually cost me my job. Western doctors tried surgery, sent me for all kinds of tests, tried many prescription drugs over a period of time, and none worked. They told me that they did not know what to do next, and against my primary physician’s advice, I tried acupuncture. Acupuncture worked. Dr. Wu’s treatments are highly effective and the results are immediate. Not only is he able to help with the problem I am experiencing (which have included chronic headache pain, sciatica, abdominal pain, ulcers, and depression) I always leave his office with a heightened sense of well being and a calmness that is so beneficial to every day life. Dr. Wu and acupuncture are an essential part of my life. I go once a month to see him. Bless him and his healing ability. I highly recommend him to any who are in need of healing. – Mary W.

I write to thank you for your gentle and patient teaching style. I have felt that you were a person I could trust to always do the right thing. Thank you for your beautiful character. I also want to thank you for being one of few persons at AOMA willing to talk about the “mystery” of Chinese medicine. You were the first person to crack the door open for me to see the cenergetic, non-practical, technical side of our medicine. – Karen C.

Your treatments have made an incredible difference in my quality of life…Starting with the first treatment, I felt calm again for the first time in two years. After the second treatment, I stopped having nightmares. Now, after three treatments, I feel like my normal happy self again, and I really didn’t think that would ever happen. Anyone who is suffering from heart-kidney disharmony from shock and grief would be tremendously helped by you, I am sure. Thank you so much, Dr. Wu. – – Paula B. .
