Dr. Yan studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the three most prestigous TCM universities in China in 1979 and graduated with a bachelor in Medicine. She had taught and practiced acupuncture and Chinese medicine and biomedicine as a chief physician at the teaching hospital of the Chengdu university for over 13 years. She was the director of administration at the Chengdu University’s acupuncture school prior. After moving to America in 1996, she became a professional practictioner at the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine (AOMA) and currently she serves as an instructor at AOMA and a clinical supervisor at its student intern clinic. Dr. Yan attends Annual continue education at Southwest Symposium and other nationwide conventions to pursue further studies on Chinese medicine. She has published over seven text books on acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Dr. Yan also attended culinary school, where she learned to integrate herbal treatment with traditional cooking techniques. Dr. Yan holds seminars on TCM dietary therapy and mind/body exercises periodically. Dr. Yan specializes in diet/nutrition, women’s health and hormonal diseases, pain and stress management, etc.

Dr. Wu is the co-founder and president of the Acupuncture Healing Arts Center (AHAC).
Dr. Wu began his acupuncture studies as the apprentice of a veteran “barefoot doctor” in 1977 before he systemically studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine in China. In 1993, Dr. Wu became one of the youngest professor at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), one of the top three TCM universities in China. He had been practicing acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and biomedicine as a chief physician in its advanced teaching hospital for over 10 years before he came to US. Dr. Wu is currently the Vice President of Faculty at the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine (AOMA), a full-time instructor for its master and doctoral programs, and has been teaching and supervising at AOMA for about 19 years. Nationally, Dr. Wu is also an active site visitor for the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine (ACAOM).
Dr. Wu has been practicing acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese dietary therapy, Qigong, and Asian Bodywork extensively in Asia, North America, and Europe for over 29 years. This experience has made him one of the most knowledgeable and skillful acupuncturists in practice.
